Venom 2 rated PG-13 for "intense sequences of wildness and action"

Venom 2 is officially rated PG-13.

While that might glucinium a shade dissatisfactory for those of you who want to see the symbiote in blest, sanguinary action, don't vex to a fault a good deal – accordant to FilmRatings.com, the paygrad is for "intense sequences of violence and action, some strong language, perturbing material and suggestive references." (H/T ComicBook.com) Considering Maliciousness was besides rated PG-13, we can ask the sequel to be fairly similar in terms of whole tone, though that moving-picture show was rated for "immoderate sequences of sci-fi violence and action, and for language."

The Sony continuation, officially titled Venom: Let There Be Massacre, sees the repay of Tom Hardy as Eddie Brock, host to the titular symbiote. They'll equal going up against Lignified Harrelson's Cletus Kasady, who ends up a host for Carnage. Michelle Williams is likewise rachis as Anne Weying, spell Stephen Graham joins the franchise A Detective Mulligan stew, and Noemi Sir Arthur Travers Harris appears as Shriek.

Interestingly, JK Simmons might also be making an show. Simmons is trump known in the Marvel world for his portrayal of Daily Bugle boss J Jonah Jameson in Sam Raimi's Spider-Man trilogy, but United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Irelan film chain Vue lists the actor as part of the Spitefulnes 2 mold.

That's not the only Raimi-related linkup, either: the Day by day Bugle logo seen in a trailer matches the one used in those movies. Withal, director Andy Serkis has poured water over multiversal surmisal: "But in this, we're treating this very much Eastern Samoa it's his own world. The Venom write up is his own world." Don't drive too carried away with the theorizing, then (save that for Spider-Man: No Elbow room Home).
